Brevard Students Shine at Auto Tech Competition

Brevard Public Schools students achieved significant recognition at the Central Florida Auto Dealers Association (CFADA) Automotive Tech Competition held on November 14, 2024, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Hunter Reed, a senior from Satellite High School, won 1st place in the competition. He received a $10,000 scholarship and secured a spot at the Universal Technical Institute (UTI) to study Marine Repair.
Beau Lail, another senior from Eau Gallie High School, placed 2nd. He is currently interning at Boniface Hiers in Melbourne and plans to join the United States Marine Corps after graduation.
The 3rd place was awarded to Decker Bowman, also from Eau Gallie High School. Decker, who is interning at East Coast Diesel, earned his trophy and scholarship and intends to attend UTI next year for continued training in automotive technology.
The accomplishments of these students reflect the support of their instructors and the opportunities available through the Career & Technical Education program at Brevard Public Schools.
