**Brevard Public Schools Closed on January 20 to Honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.**

All Brevard Public Schools (BPS) and offices will be closed on Monday, January 20, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. This closure will honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a pivotal leader in the civil rights movement.

Dr. King's famous quote, "The time is always right to do what is right," serves as a reminder of his dedication to justice and equality. This day provides an opportunity for reflection and celebration of the progress toward civil rights inspired by his work.

Normal operations will resume for BPS schools and offices following the holiday.
