**Laura Negi Named 2025 Brevard Public Schools Teacher of the Year**

Brevard Public Schools has announced Laura Negi, a third-grade teacher at Sabal Elementary School, as the 2025 Teacher of the Year.

Negi’s teaching journey has been remarkable. A former Sabal Elementary student herself, she returned to her roots after years of international experience, including volunteering with the Peace Corps in Mongolia and teaching in India.

Known for creating a classroom environment full of joy and learning, Negi has inspired her students with endless possibilities. She will now represent Brevard County in the Florida Teacher of the Year competition.
