**Library Con Buddy Battles Launching on Social Media February 3rd**

Brevard County is gearing up for an exciting event – the Library Con Buddy Battles! Starting February 3, 2025, at 1 PM, fans can vote for their favorite "Library Con Buddy" through social media. Participants can engage by commenting on the designated battle posts to decide which buddy advances in each round. The Library Con Buddy with the most votes progresses to the next round until one champion is crowned.

The Library Con Buddy Champion will receive a special prize – an exclusive edition trading card that will only be available at the Brevard Library Con. This event is taking place at the Melbourne Auditorium on February 23, 2025, from 11 AM to 4 PM.

The initial battles are scheduled as follows:

- **February 3 at 1 PM:** Selene & Grütella (Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Library) vs. Terry Tortuga (Palm Bay Library) vs. Beardimus (Suntree/Viera Library).

- **February 3 at 4 PM:** Ren (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library) vs. Astra (Melbourne Beach Library) vs. Klatter (West Melbourne Library).

- **February 4 at 1 PM:** Captain Octa (South Mainland Library) vs. Solaires (Melbourne Library) vs. Rocco (Merritt Island Library).

- **February 4 at 4 PM:** DeGroodt (Franklin T. DeGroodt Library) vs. Ralph (Titusville Library) vs. Sir Chestnut (Eau Gallie Library).

- **February 5 at 1 PM:** Mimzy Scout (Mims/Scottsmoor Library) vs. Curtis (Cocoa Beach Library) vs. Pearl J (Port St. John Library).

- **February 5 at 4 PM:** Emberwave (Satellite Beach Library) vs. Avery Canaveral (Cape Canaveral Library).
