**National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day Celebrated by Brevard Public Schools**

Brevard Public Schools expressed heartfelt gratitude towards their School Resource Officers (SROs) and Security Specialists this Valentine’s Day, recognizing their tireless efforts in making schools safer and more supportive environments for students and staff.

The district's officers not only protect school campuses, but they also act as mentors, allies, and trusted figures within the school community. From offering guidance and encouragement to being present during moments of crisis, these individuals play a critical role in fostering safety and a sense of belonging.

National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day, observed annually on February 15, serves as a reminder to thank SROs for their dedication. Brevard Public Schools encouraged gratitude beyond this day, highlighting the positive impact these officers have on the lives of students and the school family every day.
