Geneva will host the Geneva Half Marathon & Relay on Sunday, August 10th. The race will begin and end at the NYS Finger Lakes Welcome Center at 7:30 AM and run for a distance of 13.1 miles. Athletes will run on several roads, including Solar Dr, Elizabeth Blackwell St, Scott Lafaro Dr, S. Main Street, St. Clair St, White Springs Dr, Barracks Rd, Pre Emption Rd, Billsboro Rd, Slate Rock Rd, Snell Rd, Slosson Ln, Jay St, and Kings Ln.

The relay exchange is scheduled on Slate Rock Road between Snell and Billsboro Rd near Wilson Creek. Residents are encouraged to cheer the runners, host a water stop, or set up a sprinkler for participants to cool off. The City of Geneva Police and local organizers advise caution for motorists, as the event will impact traffic between 7:30 AM and 11:00 AM.
